Australia Encompassed

Day 1: Your Darwin airport transfer will take you directly to our joining hotel, ready for an early start tomorrow. Today you will meet your crew for your tour briefing and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Today’s ride will see us depart Darwin for a three hour ride into the heart of Australia’s largest national park of Kakadu.
Day 3: A full day is spent in Kakadu allowing us time to explore the park.
Day 4: Riding south we reach the sub tropical town of Katherine where we shall visit the amazing 20 million year old Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge).
Day 5: Today will see us continue south through Daly Waters and onto the fascinating Newcastle Waters with its hotel made of abandoned windmills. Our destination is Tennant Creek.
Day 6: We shall visit one of the territories most recognizable rock formations the Devils Marbles and the quirky Barrow Creek Hotel before arriving in the heart of Australia at Alice Springs.
Day 7: A free day to explore “the Alice”, or ride out to the amazing rock formation known as Stanley Chasm
Day 8: Leaving Alice Springs we ride south, then west, to one of the territories most spectacular sights, the Kings Canyon. We overnight at a wonderfully remote station.
Day 9: It’s a half-day ride from Kings Canyon to one of the world’s greatest natural attractions, Uluru or Ayers Rock. Watching sunset over the rock is one of life’s great experiences.

Day 10: A full day is spent at the rock allowing us time to ride out to the impressive Olgas, enjoy a walking track to the Valley of the Winds, or take advantage of one of the many optional excursions available; ride a camel, catch a helicopter or join a cultural tour.
Day 11:Today we cross into South Australia and ride into the mulga scrublands that this region is noted for. We spend the night at the opal mining capital of the world Coober Pedy where over half the population lives underground, as is our hotel.
Day 12: A free day off the bikes today with an opal mine tour that offers us a fascinating demonstration of how the opal is extracted.
Day 13: Continuing south we arrive at the town of Port Augusta, located on the top of the Spencer Gulf where we can visit the Matthew Flinders Red Cliffs lookout for a wonderful sunset
Day 14: Leaving “the port” we ride north again to Rawnsley Park Station located on the southern end of the Flinders Ranges National Park.
Day 15: Today we will explore the wonderful Flinders Ranges National Park via a number of scenic on and off road tracks.
Day 16: Riding south we travel through the scenic Clare Valley before reaching Australia’s foremost wine region the Barossa Valley. We overnight in Lyndoch.
Day 17: Leaving Lyndoch we ride the beautiful Adelaide Hills, a biker’s paradise. As we reach the coast we enter a world of lagoons, sand dunes and lakes as we ride through the beautiful Coorong National Park before reaching our stay at Robe.
Day 18: We leave South Australia as we cross into Victoria and enter a world of forests, fern gullies, creeks, lakes and swampland as we ride through the 400 million year old Grampians National Park. We stop in Halls Gap for the night.
Day 19:Today we ride onto one of the world’s finest coastal rides, the Great Ocean Road. We will overnight in Port Campbell.
Day 20: Our last day shall see us ride the legendary Great Ocean Road, stopping at the iconic 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and many other viewpoints, before riding into the vibrant city of Melbourne.
Departure day: Spend some time in Melbourne or fly home, the choice is yours.
